Mike Baldridge has extensive, hands-on experience directing, leading and advising companies through startup, complex restructurings and capital market transactions. He is experienced in all aspects of operations, finance and accounting and has a documented track record of contributions resulting in improved company performance with an emphasis on short and long-term strategy formulation, policy and procedure development, cost reduction and increased profitability. Prior to serving Lafayette Legacy as Chief Financial Officer, Mike has served as Chief Operating Officer and CFO for a land acquisition and development firm; CFO for a private lender/mortgage brokerage firm; Chief Executive Officer for a financial consulting firm and held other senior-level positions in the healthcare and construction industries. His experience provides him with the skill-set necessary to accomplish a wide variety of administrative, strategic, and economic activities which ensure Lafayette Legacy Construction Inc’s position as a premier builder and developer in the East Bay.
Mike holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Ouachita Baptist University and a Master’s degree in Accounting, with an elective emphasis in Finance, from Louisiana Tech University. In addition, he has completed 24 non-transferred graduate hours in specialized areas of accounting, finance, marketing and statistical analysis and, while Vice-President of a regional home healthcare provider, completed a non-traditional distance education program (42 graduate hours) to earn a Master of Business Administration degree.
